Adam Gatz

Adam Gatz, age 92, of Riverhead, NY, passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at Kanas Hospice Center in Quiogue, NY. He was born on June 24, 1924 in Riverhead, NY to Joseph and Leonora Gatz. He was a potato farmer at Turnpike Acres in Riverhead, NY. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Cornelia in 2007. He is survived by his children Susan Kowalski, Pamela Gatz, Patricia Kasold and William Gatz, brother to Walter, George and Eleanor. Cherished grandfather to Adam Kasold, Amanda Gatz, Emily Gatz and Claire Gatz, and great-grandfather to Aubrey Kasold. Visitation for Adam will be on Friday, April 28, 2017, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 7:00 - 9:00 pm at Tuthill - Mangano Funeral Home, Inc., 406 East Main St., Riverhead, NY 11901. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 9:00 am at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, in Riverhead. Interment to follow the mass in St. John's Cemetery, in Riverhead.
