Alan Brower, 67, Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and Friend
Alan Brower passed away suddenly at the age of 67, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness. He is survived by his wife Julie, and his children Nick and his wife Margaret, Tara and her husband Nick, and Adam. Alan’s pride in his children and their families was evident to all who knew him. He was the beloved grandfather to Angelina, Olivia, and Niko. Alan is also survived by his dear sister Donna and her husband Phil.
Alan had a remarkable gift for making everyone he met feel like a lifelong friend. His friendships in Tampa were boundless, creating a community of love and camaraderie that reflected his generous spirit. A passionate sports fan, he cheered fervently for the NY Islanders, Jets, Mets, and Tampa Bay Rays. His enthusiasm for hockey, football, and baseball was contagious, and he was a founding member of the Tampa Isles Meetup group, a testament to his love for community and sports. As one of his friends fondly remarked, “Hope Heaven has a Tampa Isles Meetup group.”
His love for country music was unparalleled, with a playlist and hundreds of saved concert stubs featuring Blackberry Smoke, The Outlaws, Toby Keith, Brooks and Dunn, Lynyrd Skynyrd, the Allman Brothers Band, and more. Alan was also an avid collector of sports memorabilia and a movie enthusiast, yet his greatest treasures were always the people he loved.
Alan’s generosity knew no bounds; he was always ready to help anyone in need, never turning down an opportunity to lend a hand. His constant smile and happy demeanor brightened the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. Alan’s legacy of warmth, kindness, and unwavering support will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
