Albert "Bob" R. Bongiovi

Bongiovi Albert R (Bob), 93, on Monday May 19, 2017 in Williamsburg VA.
Formerly of Dix Hills, Bob was preceded in death by his loving wife of over 69 years
Eleanor Ann (Fitzpatrick) Bongiovi. Beloved father of Robert (Betty) of Williamsburg VA;
Joanne Casaccia (Daniel) of Katy TX; Kathleen Olsen(Robert) of Massapequa NY. He leaves
behind seven grandchildren (Robert, Lisa, Stephen, Marc, Matthew, Erika, Kristen) and 12 great-grandchildren to cherish his memory.
Bob served in the Army during WW II as a combat medic in the 135th Infantry. Wounded in action on May 23, 1944, he was awarded the Purple Heart on November 28, 1944.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to St. Matthew's Social Outreach.
