Albert E. Merkle, Sr. passed away on March 22, 2024, in Port Jefferson at the age of 88. He was born on December 20, 1935, in Bronx, New York.
Albert dedicated a significant part of his life to his work as a Lithographer at Walker Prizmatics in New York City. His attention to detail and creative skills left a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of viewing his work.
Apart from his successful career, Albert also dutifully served in the Army from 1956 to 1958, showcasing his commitment to his country.
He furthered his education and obtained an Associates Degree, demonstrating his thirst for knowledge and personal development.
Albert will be fondly remembered by many, especially his surviving family: Sons Albert (Maureen), Stephen (Erica), and Chris (Heather) Merkle. His legacy lives on through them as they carry forward the values and principles instilled by Albert.
A Memorial Service to honor and celebrate the life of Albert E. Merkle, Sr. will be held on April 12, 2024, starting at 11:00 AM at St. Frances Cabrini Church located at 134 Middle Country Rd, Coram, NY 11727.
