Alberto C. Sanelli

Alberto C. Sanelli, beloved father, father in law, grandfather, brother in law,  uncle and cherished friend passed away on January 5, 2024, at the age of 94. Alberto was born in Italy on June 4, 1929, to his loving parents Raphael and Angelina Sanelli. He was predeceased in death by his loving wife Lucille Sanelli and his siblings, Antonio Sanelli and Lucia Morizio.

Alberto's life journey led him to accomplish many remarkable things. He was a hard-working and dedicated employee at Principe-Danna Inc. in Long Island City, NY.  He married his beloved wife, Lucille Marino and raised their three daughters, Angela Baker, Jo-Ann Doren and Lisa Rochford. He took great pride in their accomplishments and happiness.  In addition to being a devoted father, Alberto loved his son in laws and six grandchildren and deeply cared for his extended family and friends.  His kind heart touched the lives of those around him, leaving a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to have known him.  

Although Alberto's presence will be deeply missed, his legacy will forever be remembered. The memories shared and the love he bestowed upon his family and friends will continue to inspire and guide us.

Alberto C. Sanelli will forever be remembered as the honest, caring, strong and humble man that he was. As we say our goodbyes, let us celebrate the remarkable life he lived and keep his spirit alive in our hearts. May he rest in eternal peace.

To honor Alberto's memory and celebrate his remarkable life, visitation services will be held at Deer Park - Mangano Family Funeral Home on January 8, 2024. The first visitation will take place from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM., followed by an evening visitation from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM.

A brief prayer service will be held on January 9th at Deer Park - Mangano Family Funeral Home starting at 9:15 AM., followed by a Mass at Saints Cyril & Methodius R.C. Church in Deer Park at 10:15 AM., with an immediate entombment to follow at Saint Charles Cemetery, where loved ones will gather one last time to pay tribute to Alberto's life and offer their final farewells.
