ALFRED EMANUELO of Wheatley Heights, NY, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at the age of 92.
He is the cherished father of sons, Michael (Kathy) and Victor and daughter, Grace. Loving grandfather to Megan (Justin), John (Ellen) and Matthew. His greatest source of joy was his great grandchildren, Daniella, Patrick and Taylor. Al joins his wife of 66 years and the love of his life, Phyllis, in eternal rest.
Beloved son, brother and “Uncle Al” to countless family and friends, he will always be remembered for his fun-loving personality, sense of humor and caring nature.
Al is a veteran of the Korean War. He served honorably in the United States Army in the 45th Infantry Division and achieved the rank of Sergeant. For his service, he earned the Combat Infantry Badge, Korean Service and National Defense Service medals.
Join us in celebrating the life and memory of Al on Sunday, July 31 from 2PM to 6PM at Mangano Funeral Home, 1701 Deer Park Avenue, Deer Park NY. A final moment of farewell will be held on Monday, August 1 at 10AM at Mangano Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park, 2030 Wellwood Avenue, Pinelawn NY.
