Alfred V. Weston

Alfred V. Weston, a devoted family man, passed away on June 14th, 2023, at the age of 98. He was born on February 18th, 1925 in Brooklyn, New York to James and Catherine Weston.

Mr. Weston proudly served in the United States Army and later worked as an Aerospace Inspector in Bethpage, New York. He had a keen eye and was known for his meticulous attention to detail which made him a highly respected individual within his field.

His high school diploma did not limit his success nor his passion for education. Mr. Weston was always eager to learn more about the world around him and shared this love of learning with those around him.

Having been raised by loving parents, he carried on their legacy by being a devoted family man himself. He is survived by his children Alan (Dawn) Weston, Marie (Leslie) Tuttle, Janette (Kent) Magnuson, Linda L. (Peter) McCormack, Steven (Audrey) Weston, and Thomas (Sandy) Weston.  Alfred is predeceased by his loving wife, Theresa Weston, and his daughter Theresa A. Weston. His family and friends will dearly miss him and remember the cherished moments they shared together.

A visitation will be held on June 18th, 2023 at Deer Park- Mangano Family Funeral Home located at 1701 Deer Pk Ave, Deer Park, NY 11729 from 2:00 PM until 4:30 PM and from 7:00 PM until 9:30 PM as well.

A Mass will be held on June 19th at Saints Cyril & Methodius R.C. Church located at 125 Half Hollow Rd., Deer Park, NY 11729 beginning at 11:15 AM with services commencing at 12:15 PM.

As we reflect on Alfred's life and legacy let us continue to honor the selfless sacrifice he made serving our country while simultaneously exemplifying the characteristics of a devoted husband, father and friend.

May Alfred V. Weston rest in peace knowing that he leaves behind memories that will forever be cherished including those of his loving father James and mother Catherine as well as his son Alan (Dawn).
