Angelina Castellano on August 8, 2021, age 98, passed peacefully in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of George. Cherished mother of Sibby and Bill, George and Kathy, Rick and Fern, Michael, Joy and Tom, Lou and Cathy, Bobby and Elie, Joanne and Ken. Loving grandmother of 25 and great grandmother of 42. “Angie” opened her heart , her home, and of course her kitchen to all. A special lady whose kindness, generosity, and welcoming spirit will forever live in the hearts of her family and in the hearts of all who knew her. Visitation Friday August 13 from 2:00-4:30 pm and 7:00-9:30 pm at Mangano Family Funeral Home, 171 Deer Park Avenue, Deer Park. Funeral Mass Saturday August 14 10:15 am at Saints Cyril and Methodius RC Church, Deer Park. Interment at St. Charles Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Angelina’s memory to Alzheimer’s Association (alz.org). The family is requesting that everyone please wear a mask during visitation.
