Anthony Caliendo, of Lindenhurst, NY, a dedicated firefighter with the FDNY Ladder Company 158 in Springfield Gardens, NY, was a beacon of selflessness and bravery. His life's journey began on October 10, 1995, in Manhasset, New York to his parents Anthony and Anita. Anthony's unwavering commitment to serving his community extended beyond his profession; it was ingrained in his very being.
With a heart full of kindness and a spirit that cherished every moment, Anthony was not just a colleague, or a friend but a beloved son, father, brother, and partner.
In the loving embrace of his surviving family and friends – his devoted daughter Eliana; his mother Anita; his father Anthony; his caring girlfriend Daniela Bailey; and his sisters Kristen (Guy) Durante-Kirschberg and Lauren (Justin) Durante-Euliano – Anthony's memory will forever be etched in their hearts.
While serving in the United States Marine Corps and as a firefighter, Anthony touched the lives of many with his unwavering dedication and compassion. His legacy of courage will continue to inspire generations to come.

To honor and celebrate the remarkable life of Anthony Caliendo, friends and family are invited to pay their respects at the visitation events held at Deer Park - Mangano Family Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 17th from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM, Thursday April 18th from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and again from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. The Mass will take place at Saint Matthew in Dix Hills on Friday, April 19th at 11:45 AM.
