Antonio Michael Luciano, known for his kindness, love, and willingness to help others, passed away on December 25, 2023, at Good Samaritan Nursing Home. Born on December 11, 1937, in Long Island City, NY, Antonio had a remarkable life that touched the hearts of those around him.
Antonio attended school and graduated from high school. He then embarked on a fulfilling career as a Sales Clerk for Bloomingdale's in New York City. With his warm smile and genuine care for customers, Antonio made a lasting impact both colleagues and shoppers alike. His dedication to his work was commendable, and he created countless memories with his professionalism and cheerful attitude.
Not only did Antonio excel in his professional life, but he also served his country with honor during the Korean War. His selflessness and bravery are qualities that we will forever admire.
Beyond his career and military service, Antonio cherished time spent with family and friends. He valued their company and always went the extra mile to ensure their happiness. Surviving him is his brother, Pasquale Luciano, who greatly admired Antonio's generosity and unwavering support. Mary Luciano, Antonio's sister-in-law, was blessed to not only have him as a brother-in-law but also as a close friend.
Antonio's passing leaves behind a void that can never be filled. However, we find solace in the beautiful memories he left behind - memories of a kind-hearted man who always put others first.
To honor and celebrate Antonio's life, visitation will take place on December 28th from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Deer Park - Mangano Family Funeral Home located at 1701 Deer Park Avenue in Deer Park, NY. The following day, on December 29th at Saints Cyril & Methodius R.C. Church in Deer Park (125 Half Hollow Road), a Mass will be held at 10:15 AM. Antonio will be laid to rest at Saint Charles Cemetery in East Farmingdale (2015 Wellwood Ave) following the Mass, with burial beginning at 11:30 AM.
In life, Antonio taught us the beauty of kindness, love, and selflessness. He leaves behind a legacy that will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to have known him. As we say goodbye to this extraordinary man, let us hold tight to the memories and continue his legacy by extending a helping hand to others, just as he did so sincerely.
