Barbara Ann Richardson

Obituary

Barbara Ann Richardson was born at John T. Mather Hospital in Port Jefferson, New York on Christmas day of 1962 to her parents, Delois Clayton and Joseph Richardson.

She was affectionately known as “Poochie” by many. Poochie was a great mother to her children. She was a strong, caring, and understanding parent who loved from the bottom of her heart, no matter what.

Her smile and laughter were contagious. She always had encouraging words to say and a great personality. She truly loved her family and friends.

Barbara enjoyed cleaning, dancing, cooking, and singing. Her favorite song was “No More Rain” by Angie Stone.

Barbara leaves to mourn Judith and Ronnie. Her siblings also preceded in death Joanne Richardson and Mary Dawson. Her children Kesha Wright, Assata Andrews, Tyreak Richardson, and Delores Evans who will now be reunited with her mother again. Poochie had a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many friends. She was loved and will always be remembered.
