Bessie DiPrima

Bessie DiPrima, born on September 8, 1921, in Manhattan, New York, peacefully departed this world on August 19, 2024. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whose kindness and caring demeanor touched the lives of those around her.

Bessie was a devoted mother to her daughter Barbara and her husband Dan Russo. She took great joy in her close relationships her one grandchild and her great-grandchild, often exuding a warmth that only a loving family matriarch can provide. Throughout her life, Bessie was known for her compassionate nature and an unwavering commitment to her family's happiness.

Her life will be celebrated during a visitation on Thursday, August 22, 2024, from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM at Mangano Family Funeral Home, located at 1701 Deer Park Avenue, Deer Park, NY. Following this, a mass in her honor will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024, at Saints Cyril & Methodius R.C. Church, starting at 10:15 AM, 125 Half Hollow Road, Deer Park, NY. Family and friends who wish to attend are asked to meet at the funeral home at 9:15 AM. A burial will follow immediately after at Saint Charles Cemetery, East Farmingdale, NY.
