Betty A. Nash

Betty A. Nash, born May 14, 1934, to Louise Nash and Andrew Nash. She departed this life on Thursday, March 7, 2024.  

Betty graduated from the Riverhead Central School District and went on to attend and graduate from Montefiore Nursing School in the Bronx. Betty embarked on her professional journey after completing school, where she pursued her passion for nursing and went on to work for Montefiore for many years. Her commitment to caring for others shone brightly during her time at Montefiore Hospital, where she provided comfort and support to countless people.

At an early age Betty accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, she attended Unity Baptist Church in Mattituck, 

Betty spent her spare time doing what she loved, reading and doing crossword puzzles. 

Betty was one of a kind and will be missed by many, she leaves behind her sister, Mary Smith, two brothers, Donald Nash and Norman Nash as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In the heart of all who had the pleasure of knowing Betty Nash, her legacy of compassion and service will continue to inspire for years to come.
May she rest in eternal peace.
