Born on May 27, 1960, in Bay Shore, New York to her late parents Lucille and Duke DeLuca, Tammy was known for her strong spirit, unwavering independence, and a heart that overflowed with love for her family.
As a para professional, Tammy dedicated her life to supporting and uplifting others, bringing her caring nature and dedication to her work. Her position allowed her to thrive in environments where she could be of service, and it was here that her strong and thought-provoking personality truly shined.
Tammy held a College Degree, a testament to her commitment to education and personal growth. Yet it was her family that brought her the greatest joy. Tammy cherished her late husband Richard and was a proud mother to her daughters, Christy Brandimarte and her husband Alastair Nicholson , Casey Brandimarte, and Simone Brandimarte. Known for her nurturing spirit, she filled their lives with warmth and laughter, creating memories that will forever resonate in their hearts. The joys of being a grandmother to Duke Nicholson added another layer of fulfillment to her life, as she embraced this role with an abundance of love. Her dog Remi was her favorite companion.
Tammy’s light extended beyond her immediate family; she was a devoted sister to Annette and her husband Eddie Utz, and a loving aunt to Darlene Utz and Dana Mooney. Their bonds were unbreakable, characterized by shared laughter, memories, and unwavering support. In her life, she also honored the memory of her late husband Richard Brandimarte and her deceased sister, Darlene DeLuca, whose spirits will forever remain part of her legacy.
A visitation in memory of Tammy will be held on October 13, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Deer Park - Mangano Family Funeral Home located at 1701 Deer Park Avenue, Deer Park, NY 11729. A prayer service will be held that same day at 5:00 PM. This gathering will be an opportunity for all who loved her to come together, share their memories, and celebrate the extraordinary life of a woman who touched countless lives with her selflessness and giving nature.
