Carmelo Mazarese, 50, a beloved brother, fiancé, uncle, friend lost his battle to a very rare lung cancer. He never for one second gave up hope or the fight towards getting better. He maintained strong and smiled through even the bad days. He was truly brave and inspiring with how he approached each day.
Throughout his life he was always known for being a genuine and respectable person. Liked by anyone and everyone he met or interacted with. He was a tremendously hard worker and very dedicated. As he grew up in the family pizzeria and restaurant, his passion for making food came to fruition and was never left unnoticed. He worked side by side with his brother running my grandfathers restaurant and was always recognized for their delicious food. He continued to explore new techniques and created new recipes. Among other things he loved cars, 1967 camaro to be exact, but enjoyed watching Barret Jackson and bringing back memories associated with his childhood. Uncle Carmelo took pride and love in having nieces and nephews and was like an uncle and role model to so many others. He watched them grow and had a tremendous impact on their lives. Throughout the last several years of his life he devoted his love and time to building a family with his fiancé and her son Ryan. He finally knew what it was like to truly be in love and thrive on making them happy. He has continuously touched the lives of very many people. Throughout the last year he had been challenged in multiple ways but no matter what the circumstance or how severe things were at the time, he never gave up and his fight grew and continued as the days went on. He has taught people above all else to be positive, spend time with the people you love and take advantage of every opportunity. He will truly be remembered and most surely missed. We love you so much and will always hold you dear to our hearts ♥️
