Carol Flynn

On Sunday, June 5, 2016 Carol Flynn (nee Catanese) went to her eternal rest with the Lord. Carol's love of family was the deep well she drew from in her courageous 8 year battle with breast cancer. Carol is survived by her beloved husband Bob, her loving children Michael Brennan (MaryAnne), Christopher Brennan (Vanessa), Kimberly Beymolla (Shaun) and step children Michael Flynn, Debra Perkins (Ed) and Carolyn Larson (Lance). Carol was adored by her dear grandchildren Michael and Patrick Brennan, Christopher and Keira Brennan, Parker Beymolla, and Kody and Caitlyn Larson. She is also survived by her devoted sister Barbara Timpano and brother Anthony Catanese (Catherine), her nieces and nephews Nicholas and Amanda Timpano and Melody Rose and Anthony Catanese, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins with whom she shared a life of love and joy. The wake is being held at Mangano Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 8 from 2-4:30pm & 7-9:30pm. The funeral mass will be Thursday, June 9 at 10:15am at Ss. Cyril & Methodius RC Church, Deer Park Avenue , Deer Park, NY 11729. Interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery. The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made in memory of Carol to the Susan G. Komen Memorial (www.komenmemorial.org) or the Babylon Breast Cancer Coalition (www.babylonbreastcancer.org).
