Carole T. Fox, born on September 27, 1933, in Queens, New York, departed this world on March 20, 2025, in East Islip, New York, leaving behind a legacy imbued with love, strength, and a remarkable spirit.

A longtime Library Clerk at the Brightwaters Public Library, Carole dedicated herself to her community, fostering a deep appreciation for literature and learning among its members. Known affectionately to many as the "neighborhood Mom," her home was a sanctuary where laughter and warmth presided, a gathering hub for friends and families who sought her nurturing presence and wisdom.

As a proud high school graduate, Carole exemplified resilience and determination, earning a well-deserved reputation for being a tough lady and the steadfast head of her household. Her role as a homemaker and handywoman highlighted her dedication to creating a comfortable and loving environment for her family. A culinary enthusiast, Carole found joy in cooking, sharing countless meals infused with love, bringing family and friends together around her table to share stories and create cherished memories.

Carole’s enduring spirit will live on through her beloved family, which includes her devoted daughters, Barbara (Gary) Hartford, Joanne Petrosino; her son, William F. (Kerri) Fox III; as well as her seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, who carry forward her legacy of love. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, William F.
