Carol A. Hunsinger

Carol A. Hunsinger, a dedicated and compassionate individual, passed away peacefully on November 16,2024, in Riverhead, NY. Born on December 21, 1948, Carol was a beloved daughter, sister, and friend, whose warm spirit touched the lives of many.Carol had an illustrious career with the Suffolk County Department of Health, where she worked diligently to serve her community. Her commitment to public service and left a mark that will be remembered by those who had the pleasure of working alongside her and those whom she helped throughout her career.A proud High School  graduate,  Carol was known for her hard work and determination in all aspects of her life. She carried forward the values instilled in her by her late mother, Emma DeMartino, who preceded her in death. Carol is survived by her dedicated sister, Laura J. Gordon, who will cherish the memories of their time together.The Mass in celebration of Carol's life will take place on November 25, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Saint John the Evangelist R.C. Church  in Riverhead, NY. Following the Mass, she will be laid to rest at St. John The Evangelist Cemetery, where family and friends can gather to honor her memory. Carol A. Hunsinger's legacy of kindness and service will continue to inspire those who knew her. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of being part of her life.
