Carol L. Rodler, born on November 12, 1933, in Rockville Center, NY, passed away on February 14, 2025, in Commack, NY. A dedicated and compassionate wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Carol made her mark in the field of nursing, serving as a Registered Nurse for Dr. Vale in Huntington, NY. Her commitment and devotion to her family, who were a constant source of joy and pride for Carol, was a testament to her character, and she touched the lives of many through her kindness and love.
She is survived by her beloved daughters, Karen (Lawrence) Sheridan and Diane Shea; her sons, Steven, Thomas (Joyce), and Robert; and a cherished legacy of eight grandchildren: Katherine, William IV, Keith, Caitlin, Tommy, Meghan, Ryan. Additionally, Carol is survived by her great-grandchildren, Kenzie, Silas, Liam, and Emma, who will carry on her spirit of nurturing and love. Carol was preceded in death by her husband, the late Robert J. Rodler, a partnership that undoubtedly added richness and joy to her life and her grandson, the late Patrick.
Visitation for Carol L. Rodler will be held at the Mangano Family Funeral Home of Middle Island, located at 640 Middle Country Rd, Middle Island, on Friday, February 21, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM and again from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at St. Frances Cabrini R.C. Church in Coram, NY beginning at 10:30AM.
As her family and friends gather to honor her legacy, they will undoubtedly remember her warmth, kindness, and the profound impact she had on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
