Catherine J. Kondracke

Catherine J. Kondracke, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away peacefully on September 21, 2024, at the age of 93, in Middle Island, New York. Born on March 19, 1931 in Brooklyn, New York, Catherine dedicated her life to her family and her career.

Catherine worked diligently at St. Charles in Port Jefferson, New York, in Data Processing, where her commitment to excellence shone through her every endeavor. Her professional life was marked by a strong work ethic and a genuine passion for serving others, qualities that earned her respect and admiration from colleagues and friends alike.

Catherine is survived by her loving family: her daughters, Maureen Tolley and Karen Dilgen (Thomas), Carol (Nicholas), Diane (Seyd), the late Lisa (Randy), and her son, Richard (Joanna), Joseph (Jeannie), Robert (Sue). She was a proud grandmother to nine grandchildren—Jason, Michael, Daniel, Kellyann, Danielle, Richard, Lauren, James and Christine—as well as five great-grandchildren—Blaze, Brightley, Caleb, Gwendolyn, and Camden. The warmth and affection she shared with her family will be cherished as they remember her vibrant spirit.

Visitation will be held on September 24, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Mangano Family Funeral Home of Middle Island, located at 640 Middle Country Rd, Middle Island, NY. A funeral service will follow at the same location, beginning at 1:00 PM and concluding at 1:30 PM.
