Chestean H. Howard

Chestean H. Howard, a devoted husband, father, and respected member of his community, passed away on December 14, 2024, at the age of 78 in Rockville Centre, New York. Born on January 29, 1946, in Ewing, New Jersey, Chestean lived a life marked by dedication, service, and love for his family. 

He served honorably in the Army, demonstrating a commitment to his country that would remain a point of pride throughout his life. After his military service, he devoted many years to his career as a UPS driver, a role that allowed him to connect with countless individuals in his community and built lasting friendships. 

Chestean is survived by his loving wife, Hattie Howard; his beloved daughter, Monique Bakirdjian; and his cherished son, Chesten Howard. Together, they will carry on his legacy of kindness, strength, and unwavering support.

 Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on December 18, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Deer Park - Mangano Family Funeral Home, located at 1701 Deer Park Ave, Deer Park, NY. A prayer service will be at 6:30 PM, allowing those who loved Chestean to come together to honor his memory and share cherished moments spent with him. 

Chestean H. Howard will be remembered not just for the roles he played in life, but for the indelible mark he left in the hearts of those who knew him. His warmth, humor, and genuine spirit will be profoundly missed. May he rest in peace.
