Daniel M. Agababian

Daniel M. Agababian, a dedicated son and father who spent over 30 years as a Deer Park volunteer firefighter, has sadly passed away on May 6, 2024.   He was born November 10, 1975, in Bay Shore, NY, to parents Lorraine and Michael Agababian, an lived a life filled with valor and service to his community. 

Daniel's commitment to serving his community through the fire department was commend and left a lasting impact on those around him. He was a volunteer firefighter for the Deer Park Fire Department for over 30 years.  His passion helping others will always be remembered.

He is survived by his loving parents Michael and Lorraine Agababian. Daniel also leaves behind his daughter Julia and her mother Cathleen Kneidl, who held a special place in his heart.

The visitation services to honor Daniel's life will take place on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, and Thursday May 9, 2024, at Mangano Family Funeral Home located at 1701 Deer Park Avenue in Deer Park, NY.  On May 8th, visitation will take place from 7:00pm to 9:30pm.  On May 9th, there will be two visitation services: the afternoon session will be held from 2:00pm to 4:30pm, and the evening session will take place from 7:00pm to 9:30pm.  A Funeral Mass will be held the following day, Friday, May 10, 2024, at Saints Cyril & Methodius R.C. Church in Deer Park, NY, beginning at 11:15am.  

Daniel's legacy of selflessness and dedication will forever be cherished by all those who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace.
