Daniel F. Bruszewski, a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, passed away on September 20, 2024 at the age of 78, in Ridge, NY. Born on November 14, 1945, in Queens, NY, Daniel was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege to know him. He dedicated 33 years of his life working as a bus operator for Queens Surface, showing his unwavering commitment to his job and the community.

Daniel was not only a professional known for his kindness but also a family man who deeply cherished his loved ones. He is survived by his devoted spouse, Patricia Bruszewski, to whom he dedicated his life with love and laughter. His legacy continues through his children, Diane Pascuzzi and Steven Bruszewski, both of whom carry forward his spirit and character and his 5 loving grandchildren.

Known for his warm personality, Daniel was a loving presence in the lives of many—always kind and with a quick joke ready to light up a room. His humor brought joy to family gatherings and gatherings with friends, making him a joy to be around.

Daniel had a range of interests that reflected his vibrant personality. An avid bowler, he often turned the lanes into his canvas of fun, leaving behind moments of laughter with his friends and family. Daniel’s loyalty to his favorite sports teams was equally unmatched; he passionately supported the New York Islanders and the New York Yankees, creating countless memories cheering for his teams alongside loved ones.

His visitation will be held on September 22, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Mangano Family Funeral Home of Middle Island, where family and friends can gather to pay their respects. A prayer service will take place on the same day at 3:30 PM, followed by closing Prayers on September 23, starting at 11:30 AM. Daniel’s journey will culminate in cremation at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Center Moriches, NY, at 1:00 PM.
