Daniel Lee Trent, a devoted husband, father, and friend, has sadly passed away on January 24, 2024. Born on May 27, 1937, in Kentucky, Daniel lived a fulfilling life and made a positive impact on the lives he touched.
After completing his education with a high school diploma, Daniel embarked on a successful career at Green Bus Lines in Jamaica, New York. He dedicated many years of service to the company, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and professionalism.
Daniel proudly served in the United States Army. His military service exemplified his courage, resilience, and love for his country. We are immensely grateful for his selflessness in defending our nation's freedom.
Outside of work, Daniel found joy in spending time with his loving family and friends. He leaves behind cherished memories shared with his daughter Tracie Michele Trent and son Daniel T. Trent. Their sorrow is immeasurable as they mourn the loss of a remarkable father.
As welcome together to remember Daniel's life and honor his memory, visitation services will be held at the Deer Park - Mangano Family Funeral Home on January 27th, 2024. The visitation will begin at 11:00 AM and end at 1:00 PM. It is an opportunity for all who knew Daniel to pay their respects and find solace in each other's company during this difficult time.
Following the visitation, a burial ceremony will take place at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Farmingdale on the same day. The burial will commence at 1:45 PM to provide closure for those closest to him as they bid their final farewells.
Daniel Lee Trent's legacy extends beyond his professional achievements and military service; he will be remembered as a loving father, devoted friend, and honorable man. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will forever live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
May Daniel rest in eternal peace, and may his family and friends find comfort in the beautiful memories they shared with him.
