Dolores V. Born on November 9, 1947, in Brooklyn Borough, Dolores exemplified the warmth of her upbringing through her nurturing spirit and the vibrant life she shared with those fortunate enough to know her.
She was a loving wife to her devoted husband Anthony, with whom she celebrated an extraordinary 60 years of marriage. Together, they built a cherished home filled with laughter, love, and countless memories. Dolores was a proud mother, blessed with Four beloved children: Antonino Jr. and his late wife Jackie, The Late Michael and his wife Joyce, Lori Butera, and Thomas and his wife Beata. Each child carried a piece of her heart, reflecting her values of compassion and resilience.
Dolores took immense joy in her role as a grandmother to her cherished grandchildren: Hunter, Tyler, and his wife Nicole, Nico, Noelle, and Michael. Her nurturing presence and gentle guidance will be forever etched in their hearts, nurturing future generations with the love she imparted.
Dolores was also a sister, and she is survived by her dear siblings: brothers Richie and Neil, and sisters Kathy and Donna. Together, they formed an unbreakable bond that only deepened through time, creating a family tapestry rich in shared experiences and unwavering support.
Her departure leaves an irreplaceable void in the hearts of all who knew her, but her enduring legacy lives on through the love she nurtured and the lives she touched. As we gather to honor her memory, we invite friends and family to join us for visitation at Deer Park - Mangano Family Funeral Home, located at 1701 Deer Park Avenue, Deer Park, NY, on March 29, 2025. The visitation sessions will take place from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and again from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. A Prayer Service will also be held on the same day at 8:00 PM, allowing all to come together in remembrance of a remarkable woman whose essence shall inspire and guide us forever.
