Dolores “Dilly” Gulino, 89, of North Babylon, NY passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her adoring family on January 17th, 2024. Devoted wife to the late Anthony “Tony” Gulino. Loving mother to her 3 children: Anthony, Dawn and Robert.
Born on December 16th, 1934 in Queens, NY with her adored siblings. She began her legacy of warmth and compassion. Family meant everything to Dolores. Her children and grandchildren were the center of her world. She is survived by her devoted son Robert Gulino, his wife Jessica, and her loving daughter Dawn Felice and her husband Phil. She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren: Anthony, Robbie, Dayna, Gina, Ricky, Alyssa, Mikey along with her nieces, nephews and a community of cherished friends.
In her lifetime, Dolores touched the lives of so many with her kindness and generosity. She had an unparalleled ability to make everyone feel welcome and loved in her home where she often showed care through her food. Her infectious smile would light up any room she entered and her warm personality made it easy for others to feel comfortable in her presence.
As we mourn the loss of Dolores, let us also remember the joy, love and warmth she brought into our lives. May her spirit continue to inspire us to be kind, compassionate, and accepting. Dolores will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Friends and family will gather to pay their respects at the Deer Park Mangano Family Funeral Home located at 1701 Deer Park Ave, Deer Park, NY 11729 on January 21, 2024. Visiting hours are 3-8PM.
A Mass in honor of Dolores’s life will take place on January 22, 2024 at Saint Cyril & Methodius R.C. Church located at 125 Half Hollow Rd., Deer Park, NY 11729. The Mass with begin at 9:15AM.
