On June 4, 2024, our hearts grew heavy as we said goodbye to a beloved soul, Dolores Venturella. She was a retired teachers assistant, whose impact on the lives of those around her will be forever.
Dolores will always be remembered for her warm and loving personality. Her passion for life was evident in every interaction, and she made lasting memories with all who had the privilege of knowing her. One of her favorite dinners was chicken cutlets and rice with her signature salad—a simple joy that brought comfort to many.
Among her proudest accomplishments was the care she took in presenting herself – she took great pride in her appearance. Additionally, Dolores found great joy in watching the Hallmark Channel on TV, finding solace and happiness in its stories.
Dolores leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness. Her memory will be cherished by her sons, John A. Venturella, William (his wife Lorraine) Venturella, and Anthony Venturella, and her granddaughter Angelica, along with all those who were touched by her presence. Dolores is predeceased by her husband, John whom she was married to for 43 years and her grandson Christian.
The services to honor Dolores Venturella's life will be held at Mangano Family Funeral Home located at 1701 Deer Pk Ave, Deer Park, NY 11729. The visitation will take place on June 10, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. Closing prayers will be held on June 11, 2024, starting at 9:15 AM at the same location followed by a Mass at Saints Cyril & Methodius R.C. Church at 10:15 AM. A burial will follow immediately after at Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury, NY.
In our hearts, Dolores will forever remain— who graced our lives with love and tenderness. Rest in peace, dear Dolores Venturella. Your spirit will live on in our hearts forever.
