Donna Marie Zettergren

Donna Marie Zettergren, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2024, in Brookhaven, New York. She was born on June 28, 1957, in Brooklyn, New York. 

Throughout her life, Donna was a pillar of strength and kindness. She dedicated herself to her family and embraced the joys of motherhood with open arms. As the devoted wife of Orlando Rivera, she shared a partnership that was marked by love and mutual respect. Together, they built a life filled with cherished memories and unwavering support for one another. Donna took immense pride in her role as a mother to her children, James Zettergren and Janelle Marie Zettergren. She nurtured their dreams and aspirations, encouraging them to pursue their passions while instilling strong values that would guide them throughout their lives. As a grandmother, she found pure joy in the laughter and innocence of her grandchildren, Lorenzo Flowers and Royal Sinclair. Her love for them was boundless, and she delighted in the moments they shared together as a family. In addition to her immediate family, Donna is survived by her sister, Tracy Vita, and her brother, Dennis Zettergren, who will forever remember her resilience and the warmth of her spirit. The bonds she formed throughout her life will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
