Dorothy M. DeBiase, a beloved member of her family and community, passed away on January 22, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on December 31, 1942, in Queens, New York, Dorothy was known for her kind and caring nature. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, who cherished every moment spent with her family, particularly her grandchildren.
Throughout her career, Dorothy contributed to her community as a cashier for King Kullen, where her friendly demeanor and genuine warmth made a lasting impression on all who interacted with her. Her commitment to her work was evident, as was her ability to connect with customers, making their day just a little brighter.
Dorothy's academic journey culminated with a high school diploma, but it was her life experiences and the love she shared that defined her character. More than just her educational background, it was her rich personality that drew people to her. She had an extraordinary ability to make those around her feel special and loved.
A proud matriarch, Dorothy is survived by her devoted husband, Anthony J. DeBiase, her loving children, Dorothy and her husband Richard Bauer, Nancy and her husband William Bresnan, Paul and his wife Judy DeBiase, and Anthony DeBiase, and her cherished grandchildren, Sean, Aiden, Kaela, Collin, Patrick, and Abigail, who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
Dorothy's legacy will be celebrated during visitation on Saturday, February 1, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mangano Family Funeral Home in Deer Park, NY. This will be followed by a Mass at Saints Cyril & Methodius R.C. Church, commencing at 11:15 AM and concluding at 12:15 PM.
