Edward Francis Gambale on August 3, 2016 of Middle Island, NY. Age 92. Beloved Husband of the late Christine. Loving Father of Rosemarie Gambale Greene (Peter) and Phyllis Tamburello (Ron Forte), widow of Paul Tamburello. Cherished Grandfather of Steven Tamburello. Fond Brother of Anthony Gambale. He became an Art Director in the 1950's & worked in advertising at various agencies his entire career. He created beloved commercial character Choo-Choo Charlie for Good & Plenty.Edward won an advertising adward for Keep America Beautiful Act. Upon retirement he worked part time at Saks Off Fifth and Ricos Clothing.
