Edward W. Smith

Edward W. Smith, beloved husband, father, son and brother, and highly respected Sound Engineer, passed away on June 9, 2024, in Bay Shore, NY. He was born on May 30, 1966, in Amityville, NY. Edward will be remembered not only for his successful career but also for his kindness and the impact he had on those around him.

Edward graduated high school and pursued a career as a sound engineer. Edward's passion and dedication to his craft was visible in his every endeavor. His work left an indelible mark on the industry, and his talent will be truly missed.

Edward is survived by his loving wife Theresa, son Edward E. Smith, daughter Jeanne Smith, brother Ernie Smith, and mother Elenora Smith. He is predeceased by his father, Ernest Smith. Together, they share cherished memories that will forever hold a special place in their hearts.

A visitation to honor and celebrate Edward's life will be held at the Deer Park - Mangano Family Funeral Home in Deer Park, NY on Thursday, June 13, 2024. The first visitation is scheduled from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM followed by the second visitation from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM.  Edward will be laid to rest on Friday, June 14, 2024, at Cypress Hills Cemetery in Brooklyn. 

In loving memory of Edward W. Smith, may his legacy of passion and talent continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to know him. He leaves behind a void that can never be filled but also a lifetime of beautiful moments that will live on through those who loved him.
