Frances Feminella, a beacon of love and joy, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on November 15, 1944, Frances devoted her life to her family leaving behind a strong foundation of love, values and tradition.
Frances was a vibrant soul known for her unwavering support for those around her. She was a devoted wife to her beloved husband of 60 years, John and together they nurtured a family that flourished on love and togetherness. Their home was always filled with laughter and warmth, particularly during the holidays, which Frances cherished deeply.
As a mother, she was a guiding light to her children, Cathy (Bob) Brase and John (Ann) Feminella. Frances had a spirit that was truly caring, always putting others before herself. Additionally Frances took pride as a business owner with husband John for over 20 years (Sweet Nut Hut, Deer Park).
Frances was a grandmother who took a special interest in the lives of her grandchildren—Alexandra (Dan), Sarah, Robert, Joseph and Shannon. She loved them fiercely.
Her spirit is carried on by her loving brother Carmine and loving sister in law Lynn. She is also survived by her sister in-law Sissy and many loving nieces and nephews. Together, they will carry on her legacy of love and family devotion.
Frances is reunited in eternal rest with her parents, Joseph and Katherine Latanza; her siblings, Michael and Theresa; brother in-law Phil and cherished grandson Joseph.
A visitation will be held in her honor on March 24, 2025, at Mangano Family Funeral Home from 2-4:30 PM and again from 7-9:30 PM, followed by a Mass at Saints Cyril & Methodius R.C. Church on March 25, 2025 at 10:15 AM, leading to her burial at Saint Charles Cemetery. Friends and family are welcome to pay their respects and celebrate the touching life of a remarkable woman who will never be forgotten.
