Frances Springsteen

Frances Springsteen, beloved wife, mother, and friend, peacefully passed away on December 7, 2023, at the age of 92. Born on June 27, 1931, in Brooklyn, New York, Frances lived a life filled with love, compassion, and an unwavering dedication to her family and friends.

Frances' legacy will forever be cherished by her adoring family and friends. She was predeceased by her devoted spouse, Lawrence Springsteen and her loving son, James Springsteen.  Survived by her son, Joseph Anthony Springsteen; her daughter, Lorraine Springsteen; and Barbara Springsteen and son Dennis Springsteen and his wife Patricia. Frances had a knack for forging deep bonds with those around her and was a pillar of strength to all who knew her.

Frances' life will be celebrated through various events held in honor of her memory. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, December 13, 2023. It will take place from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM and again from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM at the Deer Park - Mangano Family Funeral Home located at 1701 Deer Park Ave, Deer Park, NY.  This visitation will provide an opportunity for loved ones to pay their respects and share fond memories of Frances.

On Thursday, December 14th, a Mass will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes R.C. Church located at 455 Hunter Avenue in West Islip, NY. The Mass will commence at 10:30 AM. Here we will come together as a community to celebrate Frances' life and find solace in the embrace of shared memories.

After the Mass, interment will take place at Saint Charles Cemetery in East Farmingdale, NY. Gathered family and friends will pay their last respects and witness Frances' peaceful transition to her eternal resting place. 

Frances was a remarkable woman who touched the lives of countless individuals. Her kindness, generosity, and warm spirit will be remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her. She possessed an unwavering resilience that inspired those around her to never give up hope and to embrace each moment with gratitude.

Frances' legacy is one of love, compassion, and unwavering strength. She leaves behind a family who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts. Though we mourn her loss, we also celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the profound impact she made on all who knew her.
