Frank Acierno, loving husband, and a skilled businessman who devoted his life to running Acculith Printing in Deer Park, New York, has passed away at the age of 87. Frank was born on September 25th, 1935, in New York City to the late Armando and Anna Acierno.
Frank will be remembered for not only his successful business career but also his kind heart and quick wit. His love for the New York Mets was well known among his family and friends.
In his free time, Frank enjoyed painting Disney pictures for children as well as spending time with his wife of 65 years, Nina, and their family. Besides Nina, he is survived by their children: Frank Acierno (Maria), Linda O'Toole (Thomas), as well as his grandchildren: Frank Acierno, Angela Acierno, Stephanie Acierno and Christina O'Toole and three great-grandchildren: Lily, Niko and Nino.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, June 25th from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm and again from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm at Deer Park- Mangano Family Funeral Home located at 1701 Deer Pk Ave. A Mass will be celebrated in honor of Frank at Ss. Cyril and Methodius Roman Catholic Church on Monday June 26th at 9:15 am located at 125 Half Hollow Rd in Deer Park. Entombment to follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park located at 2030 Wellwood Ave in Farmingdale.
Frank may have left this world but he leaves behind fond memories to those he knew. May we never forget that funny joke or warm smile of his that welcomed everyone around him wherever he went.
