Frank R. Schiavone

Frank R. Schiavone, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on July 14, 2023, at the age of 85. Born on June 15, 1938, in Brooklyn, NY, Frank's life was a testament of hard work, creative talents, dedication and love for his family.

Frank will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 59 years, Lucy  (Amato).  They first met when Lucy was only 15 years old on the streets of Brooklyn where they lived across the street from one another. Their bond through good times and bad was one of unwavering support and companionship that stood the test of time. Together they created a beautiful family and shared countless memories.

Frank's legacy lives on through his sons, Frank Jr., along with his wife Kelly; Angelo, and Vinny, and his wife Judy, to carry on their father's love of family, friends, fishing and good Italian food.  They are a testament to Frank's influence as a good humored, kind-hearted, role model and are embodiments of the values he held dear.

As a doting grandfather, Frank found immense joy in the presence of his grandchildren: Nicole, Courtney, Alexa, Ashley, Kyle and Jacob. Their laughter filled his heart with warmth and their milestones brought him immeasurable pride. He loved nothing more than spending quality time with them and showering them with unconditional love.

Friends and family will remember Frank as a compassionate and talented individual with a close-knit circle of those he loved.  The bond he shared with his older brother Tom, cousin Richie, dear friend George and others was unbreakable and true.  A pure example of his dedication to family and friends now passed down to his sons to continue his legacy.  

A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 19th at Mangano Family Funeral Home Of Middle Island located at 640 Middle Country Rd in Middle Island, NY. The visitation will start at 12:00 PM and conclude at 2:00 PM. A prayer service will follow the visitation at the same location at 2:00 PM.

Following the prayer service, Frank will be laid to rest at HOLY SEPULCHRE CEMETERY - CORAM. The address is 3442 NY-112 in Coram, NY. The burial ceremony will commence at 2:30 PM on the same day, July 19th.

Frank R. Schiavone's departure has left a void in the lives of those who had the privilege of knowing him. His kindness, wisdom, and love will forever be etched in their hearts. May his soul find eternal peace, and may his family and friends find solace in the countless memories they created with him.
