We announce the passing of Fred Acquavita, who left this world on July 29, 2023. Fred was born on September 24, 1961, in Copaigue, NY.

Fred was a beloved husband to Frances and a devoted father to his children, Fred, Steven (Jaclyn), and Alyssa (Andrew). He shared a deep love with his wife and cherished the time spent together with their family. Fred was a kind-hearted and supportive father who always prioritized the well-being and happiness of his children.

In addition to being a dedicated husband and father, Fred embraced the role of a loving grandfather to Gregorio. He found immense joy in spending time with his grandson and showered him with love and affection. The bond between them was truly special.

Fred's family is eagerly awaiting the arrival of another blessing as they prepare to welcome Baby Acquavita into their lives. Even though Fred won't be physically present to witness this wonderful event, his spirit will continue to guide his family throughout their journey.

Throughout his life, Fred touched the hearts of many with his warm smile, kind nature, and genuine sincerity. He had an uncanny ability to make everyone around him feel loved and valued.
Fred's memory will forever be etched in the hearts of those who had the privilege of sharing his life. He leaves behind memories that will be cherished for generations to come.

To honor Fred's life and pay tribute to the impact he had on their lives, family and friends will gather for visitation at Deer Park- Mangano Family Funeral Home on August 3, 2023. The visitation will take place from 2:00 PM until 4:30 PM in the afternoon, providing an opportunity for loved ones to share stories and support one another during this difficult time.

A second visitation will be held at the same location from 7:00 PM until 9:30 PM on the same day, allowing friends and acquaintances to come together in remembrance of Fred and offer their condolences to the grieving family.

A Mass will be held on August 4, 2023, at Saints Cyril & Methodius R.C. Church in Deer Park, NY. The Mass will commence at 10:15 AM, providing an occasion for loved ones to come together in celebration of Fred's life and offer prayers for his eternal peace.

Fred will be laid to rest at Saint Charles Cemetery in East Farmingdale, NY. The burial ceremony will take place following the Mass at 11:45 AM and will serve as a final opportunity for family and friends to bid him a heartfelt farewell.

Fred Acquavita lived a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished connections. His genuine kindness and unwavering support touched the souls of those fortunate enough to have known him. As we mourn his loss, let us also celebrate the incredible legacy he leaves behind and remember him for the remarkable person he was.  May his soul rest in eternal peace, knowing he was deeply loved and will be forever missed.
