George V. Lamond, Jr.

George V. Lamond, Jr., a beloved licensed electrician in Baldwin, New York, passed away on August 30, 2024, at the age of 87. Born on May 9, 1937, in Oceanside, New York, George dedicated his life to his family and his craft, leaving an indelible mark on all who him.

Throughout his career, George's commitment to excellence was evident in every project he undertook.  Yet, it was George's kindness and caring nature that truly defined him. He was not only a skilled tradesman but also a gentle soul who genuinely cared for the well-being of others.

George is survived by his two sons, Skip Lamond and his fiancée Lisa Taylor, and Alexander Lamond. He was a proud grandfather to Courtney, Cole, Farrah, and Carley, all of whom brought immense joy to his life.

His family and friends will gather to celebrate his life during visitation on Saturday, September 7, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM, followed by a prayer service at 4:30 PM at Mangano Family Funeral Home, located at 1701 Deer Pk Ave, Deer Park, NY 11729.

George V. Lamond, Jr. will be remembered as a man of great integrity, warmth, and love. His spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know him.
