Gladys Montesino, at age 54, passed away on February 2, 2024. She was born on October 10, 1969, and was the beloved wife of Siamak Shookoufandeh (A.K.A. Sam). Gladys was a loving mother to her son, Frank Acosta, and adored her grandson Siavash. She will be deeply missed by her surviving family and friends.
Gladys Montesino's life will be celebrated through a series of memorial events. The visitation will take place at Deer Park - Mangano Family Funeral Home located at 1701 Deer Pk Ave, Deer Park, NY 11729, on February 10, 2024. It will begin at 9:00 AM and end at 12:00 PM. The visitation is an opportunity for family and friends to pay their respects and share memories of Gladys.
A prayer service will follow the visitation at the same location. Starting at 12:30 PM, the prayer service will be a moment of reflection and spiritual support for everyone attending. After the prayer service, there will be a burial ceremony held at Pinelawn Memorial Park located at 2030 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735. This final farewell to Gladys will commence at 1:30 PM.

Her generosity knew no bounds as she extended a helping hand whenever someone was in need. Whether it was through cooking delicious meals or offering comfort during difficult times, Gladys was always there for her loved ones.
Gladys Montesino will forever be remembered for her vibrant personality, determination, and compassion. Her legacy will continue to live on through the memories shared by all who knew her. May she rest in eternal peace.
