Gregory A. Campo

Gregory Anthony Campo, 56 of Beacon Falls, CT passed away suddenly on Thursday August 29th at his home. Gregory was born on June 2nd, 1957 he was the son of the late Jiusto and Helen Campo. He is survived by his beloved son and wife Gregory and Raquel Campo; and his beloved stepdaughter and husband Jennifer and Johnny Delorenzo. Two dear grandchildren Cristopher Campo and Gianna Delorenzo. Three sisters; Helayna and husband Gino Delbianco; Patricia and Maria Campo. One brother Michael Campo and one beloved niece Giustina Delbianco.

Gregory was a long time resident of Beacon Falls where he lived after moving from New York. He attended Aviation High School of which he graduated in 1976. Thereafter he attended college at the Academy of Aeronautics and graduated in 1978. He became a dedicated quality control inspector at Sikorsky Aircraft in CT for more than 30 years.

He was a private person but he had a group of life long friends that were loyal to him and he cherished dearly. He was an avid collector of many things, his favorites were stamps, coins and trains. Gregory was also a gun enthusiast and a lifetime member of the NRA. He enjoyed going to wine and cheese tastings on the weekends, and he liked to vacation at Amish Country in Pennsylvania in the summers. Some of his greatest passions in life were his computers, cars and working on helicopters.

The family will receive friends at Mangano Funeral Home at 1701 Deer Park Avenue, Deer Park NY, 11729 on Tuesday September 3rd from 2:00pm to 4:30pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm.

Memorial Services will be conducted at Our Lady of Grace Church on 666 Albin Ave, West Babylon NY, 11704 on Wednesday September 4th at 10:00am. Burial to follow at Saint Charles Cemetery on 2015 Wellwood Avenue, Farmingdale NY, 11735.
