Harold R. Erikson, age 92, of Baiting Hollow, NY, passed away at his home on Tuesday, February 2, 2016. He was born in Queens, NY on February 13, 1923 to John Erikson and Walborg Stenberg. Harold served in the U.S. Navy, as an Ensign, during WW II, he was also a mechanical engineer for Bergen Patterson in New Jersey. He was married to Patricia (nee:Kotter) Erikson for 69 years. He is survived by his loving wife Patricia, son John and his wife Janet, daughter Lori Erikson Lettieri and her husband John, grandchildren John C. Lettieri, Nicole Lettieri, Karen Josefyk and her husband Andy, Bryn Ponti and her husband Scott and great grandchild Lawson Josefyk. Harold will be reposing at Tuthill - Mangano Funeral Home, Inc. on Thursday, 2/4, 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Interment will follow on Friday, 2/5, in Calverton National Cemetery, family and friends are requested to meet at Tuthill - Mangano Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday, 2/5, at 1:00 pm.
