Harry Michael Norton

Harry Michael Norton, age 82, of Riverhead, formerly of Locust Valley, passed away on Friday, March 31, 2017 in Riverhead, NY. He was born on July 27, 1934 to Harry T. Norton and Dorothy Mather in Glen Cove, NY. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War from 1954-1957. Harry worked for Newsday in Manhasset for 35 years before his retirement. He is survived by his loving wife Jane T. Norton (nee: Tomlinson). He was beloved father of the late James (Mena), Jeffrey (Maria) and George. Cherished grandfather of Ariella, James and Peter and great grandfather of Isabella and Camilla. Visitation for Harry will be on Friday, April 7, 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm, at Tuthill - Mangano Funeral Home, Inc., 406 East Main St., Riverhead, NY 11901. A memorial service will be held at a later date at St. Paul's Church in Glen Cove. In memory of Harry the family suggests donations to your favorite charity.
