Howard "Howie" Shannon, a beloved member of the Dix Hills community, passed away on May 2nd, 2023. He was born on April 13th, 1932 and lived a long and fulfilling life until his passing. Howie was a loving husband to his wife, Antonie. And caring friend to Mary Flatley.
Howie will always be remembered for his infectious smile and kind heart. His presence brought joy and warmth to every room he entered. Howie's playful sense of humor and positive outlook on life will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
The visitation services for Howie will take place on May 7th, 2023 at the Deer Park-Mangano Family Funeral Home from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM as well as from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. The funeral Mass will be held the following day on May 8th at St. Matthew RC Church in Dix Hills at 10:45 AM.
