James Raphael Boix, a dedicated machinist who worked for Catilina Instrument crop in Plainview New York, has sadly passed away at the age of 91. Born on October 8, 1932, in Brooklyn New York, James lived a fulfilling life full of hard work, love, and service.
James proudly served in the United States Army carried that same sense of duty and honor throughout his civilian life. His craftsmanship as a machinist was renowned, and his dedication to his work was evident to all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving family: his children Kevin Boix (Susan), James Boix (Charles), Penni Ovellette, Robin Spanier (Kelly); and stepchildren ,Tammy Przybyski (Pat) and Thomas Alvino (Kim); as well as his 11 grandchildren Kevin, Casey, Ryan, Emily, Laure, Jillian, Margaret, Charles, Thomas, Hudson and Anthony. He is now reunited with his wife Marge Boix and stepdaughter Karen Abreeht (Phil).
A graveside service to honor and remember James will be held on April 29, 2024, at Calverton National Cemetery in Calverton, New York. The service will commence at 11:00 AM with a final goodbye at 12:00 PM. The address for the service is 210 Princeton Boulevard, Calverton, NY 11933-1031.
James will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace knowing he leaves behind a legacy of hard work, dedication, and love.
