James G. (Glenn) Cesare has sadly passed away on September 4, 2023. His passing was peaceful and surrounded by the loving and compassionate presence of his family and caregivers. He was born on June 18, 1938, born, raised and lived in Queens NY most of his life, and most recently resided in Manhattan. James was a dedicated son of the late James Cesar and Gertrude David. Carole Petkunas, his beloved sister, survives him. Their bond was unbreakable throughout their lives. The late Lorraine Ambrose was his eldest sister. James is additionally survived by his nieces and goddaughters Donna Petkunas Byrne, Sandra Aiello, Sharon Reid, and great-niece Nikki Aiello.
James had a deep love for his family and an eternal drive and passion to support and protect his family. His commitment to his family and friends was unyielding.
James led a life guided by his heart, always concerned and supportive of the people he knew and loved and never hesitating to help others in need that he would meet and know throughout his days. James valued the importance of family and friends. He lived a life marked by integrity, professionalism, and compassion.
James was a dedicated and accomplished Assistant Vice President at Reliance National Insurance. James' career at Reliance spanned many years, during which he made significant contributions to the company. His commitment and expertise in his field earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues and clients alike.
James always had a love for the piano since childhood and was an avid and talented pianist. He enjoyed jazz music, and the Manhattan lifestyle.
James will be fondly remembered for his incredible work ethic, his wealth of knowledge, and his devotion to family and friends. His impact on those who knew him personally and professionally will not be forgotten, and his absence will be deeply felt.
Let us celebrate the life of James and cherish the memories we shared with him. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
