James W. Daulton, affectionately known as Jimmy, passed away on March 20, 2025, at the age of 71. He leaves behind a legacy of laughter and love that will resonate in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
Born on July 17, 1953, Jimmy cherished every moment of his life, especially those spent with his beloved family. He was married to his devoted wife, Mary R. Daulton, for an incredible 46 years. Together, they built a loving home filled with warmth and joy. Their bond was an exemplary testament to love, companionship, and resilience.
Jimmy took immense pride in his role as a father. He is survived by his children Mary LaVigna and her husband Paul, and James A. Daulton and his wife Amanda. Being a grandparent brought him unmeasurable joy; he is survived by his cherished grandchildren: Joseph, Harper, Gianna, and Avery, each of whom will forever hold a piece of his heart.
In addition to his immediate family, Jimmy also leaves behind his loving siblings, Joanie and Robert and their families.
Those who knew Jimmy remember his delightful sense of humor, a characteristic that was truly unforgettable. He loved his family dearly, adored his dogs, and never missed an opportunity to make people laugh. His legacy is not just one of joy, but also of love and kindness—a lasting impression that will echo in the lives he touched.
Visitation will be held at Mangano Family Funeral Home, Inc. in Deer Park, NY, with sessions scheduled for March 23, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM and again from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. A Prayer Service will take place on March 24, 2025, at 9:45 AM, followed by a Mass at Saint Matthew in Dix Hills, NY, starting at 10:45 AM.
As we gather to celebrate Jimmy’s remarkable life, let us remember him not just for the laughter he spread, but for the love he inspired. His spirit will forever remain in our memories, reminding us to embrace life with humor, love, and compassion.
