Jeanne P. Dupree

Jeanne P. Dupree of North Babylon, NY, age 69 passed away on March 1st, 2022 after a long courageous battle with cancer.
She was born to Phyllis and Eugene Vitulano on June 5, 1952.
Devoted mother of Michael D. Dupree (Heather G. Dupree) and Janine R. Dupree. Adored Grandmother of 3; Alyssa, Isabella and Emma and Great Grandmother of 1; Anastasia
Beloved cousin of many, including Anthony and his wife Dawn who devoted her time to helping Jeanne as her health declined.
She took on life’s obstacles with a smile, and her humorous personality brought those around her joy.
Jeanne loved spending time with her family. On her free time she enjoyed going out for coffee and bagels with her many friends who continued to lift her spirits as her days became more challenging.
One of her greatest joys came from teaching and playing with children. She spent many years babysitting Shanna, daughter of her beloved friends Triona and Gerry and Megan, sister of Alyssa whom she both considered grandchildren of her own.
As the end of her life leaves us with saddened hearts, we were all lucky to have known such a wonderful, intelligent, and loving Woman.
We will continue her legacy by being kind to others and living life to the fullest.
