Jennifer E. Hausner, born on March 6, 1977, in Manila, Philippines, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2024, leaving behind a legacy marked by kindness, dedication, and a deep love for her family and culture.

Jennifer was a devoted and hard-working individual, known for her unwavering commitment to her work and her passion for cooking. She delighted in preparing her authentic Filipino dishes, sharing the flavors and traditions of her heritage with everyone around her. Each meal she served was infused with love, and her family and friends will always cherish the memories made around her kitchen table.

An accomplished individual, Jennifer held a master’s degree, which reflected her dedication to lifelong learning and her desire to excel in all areas of her life. Beyond her professional achievements, her true joy came from spending valuable time with her loved ones. She was a kind and caring partner to her husband, Scott Hausner, and her love for him was evident in every interaction.

Jennifer also cherished the moments spent with her father, Jose, and her sister, Judith. These relationships were foundational to her life, and she always made an effort to strengthen the bonds that connected them. Every gathering was a testament to her love for family, creating an environment where laughter and support flourished. Jennifer is predeceased by her mother, Yolanda and her brother, Jay.

The memory of Jennifer will be honored during visitation events at Mangano Family Funeral Home in Deer Park, NY, on January 2, 2025. The first session will be from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM, followed by a later visitation from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. A prayer service will also be held that evening at 8:00 PM. A burial will take place the following day, January 3, 2025 at Pinelawn Memorial Park. Family and friends who wish to attend are asked to meet at the funeral home at 11 AM. 

As we reflect on Jennifer’s life, we remember a remarkable woman whose spirit touched everyone she met. Her strength, love, and dedication remain in our hearts, and her memory will live on through the stories of warmth and kindness she created in her lifetime.
