Joan Glignor

Joan Glignor, beloved wife, sister, and dedicated Operator in Communications for New York Telephone, passed away at East End Hospice Kanas Center March 1, 2024. She was born on June 22, 1936.

In her career at New York Telephone, Joan demonstrated unwavering commitment and professionalism, leaving a mark on all those she worked with. Her contributions to the field of communications will always be remembered.

 She will be deeply missed by her sisters, Eileen Kreh and Barbara Kelly. Joan's warmth, kindness, and generosity touched the lives of many, and her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and cherished her.

A visitation to honor Joan's life will take place on March 6th from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Tuthill-Mangano Funeral Home in Riverhead. A prayer service will follow at the same location from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM. The burial will be held at Saint John The Evangelist Cemetery in Riverhead from 12:30 PM to 1:15 PM.

Today we remember Joan not with sadness but with gratitude for having been part of her life. May she rest in peace knowing she was loved and will always be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
