In Loving Memory of Joanna M. Tamuccio
Joanna M. Tamuccio, beloved by all who knew her, passed away on May 12, 2024 leaving behind a legacy of kindness and love that will forever be cherished. She was born on July 14, 1937, in Brooklyn, New York, to her parents Nicholas and Jean Santoro.
Joanna was a woman of great warmth and humor, with a heart that touched many. She would light up every room she entered with her bright smile and outgoing personality. However, her proudest accomplishments always revolved around her family, whom she adored more than anything else.
She is survived by her loving spouse, Frank M. Tamuccio, her daughters Leonora Smith and Marlene Storey (her husband Michael), her grandchildren Marlaina (her husband Josh), Shannon, and Frank, as well as her great-granddaughters Isabella and Giavanna. Joanna now joins in eternal peace with her late father Nicholas, her late mother Jean, her late grandson David, and so many others other loved ones she's missed for so long.
Her presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Services to honor Joanna's life will be held at Mangano Family Funeral Home in Deer Park, NY. The visitation will take place on May 15th from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. A Mass will be held at Saint Matthew in Dix Hills on May 16th at 9:45 AM. Burial to follow at Calverton National Cemetery.
Joanna M. Tamuccio will forever be remembered for her kind spirit and the love she shared with those around her. May she rest in eternal peace.
