Joanne Mary Uriah, a devoted homemaker born on July 12, 1948, in the Bronx, New York, passed away on October 31, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
She was the beloved wife of the late Edward Ronald Uriah, with whom she shared a life filled with warmth and joy. Throughout her life, Joanne embraced her role as a dedicated mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, taking immense pride in her family and friends.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Jennifer Lynn Kobarg (Dennis), and son, Edward Ronald Uriah (Kristin Korenkiewicz). Joanne spirit lives on through her grandchildren, Heather Lee Hayes (Brandon), EJ Uriah (Aidann Coblentz), and her great-grandchildren, Emma Lee Hayes and Kenzie Lynn Hayes. She will be dearly missed by her siblings Carol Ann Rogers and Harold Button. Each of them holds a special place in her heart, reflecting her enduring love and commitment to her family.
Joanne had a passion for crafting and an appreciation for music, interests that complemented the warmth she brought into the lives of those around her. Her home was always a hub of creativity, laughter and joy, where she fostered a nurturing environment for her loved ones.
A memorial service in honor of Joanne will be held on November 9, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Mangano Family Funeral Home of Middle Island, located at 640 Middle Country Rd, Middle Island, NY 11953. A prayer service will be held during the visitation at 3:00 PM. Joanne Mary Uriah will be remembered for her loving nature, her unwavering support for her family, and her commitment to creating beautiful memories. Her legacy will continue to inspire and comfort those who had the privilege of knowing her.
